Martha Stewart's Farmhouse for Sale

Martha Stewart has put her colonial-style farmhouse estate, Turkey Hill Farm, in Westport, Connecticut on the market. The beautiful home is just over 3,100-sq. feet and is situated on 4 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds (would you expect anything less from Martha Stewart?). The property also features a large barn and a greenhouse. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath house was originally built in 1805. It was maintained in excellent condition and features central air, a full walk-out basement and a heated pool. The asking price is $8,995,000.

More pictures after the jump, though there are none from the interior of the house - surprising, given that Martha is an amazing decorator.

Doesn't this last shot look like something that would be in Martha Stewart Living?

I have never understood why Martha Stewart has not included a few subjects within her frame of interests. Family history and childrens books are a few of these.

As one who does family history for those who contact me, I know that there would be more than enough interest from those who watch the Martha Stewart Show to sustain this.

Ah Martha, I wish you would just donate this home to me so I could entertain and take care of several seniors who deserve to live out their years in quite style. Can you do it Martha? Can you just give me this beautiful home? I will take pristine care of it too.

I was under the impression that Martha was allowing her mother to live at Turkey Hill while the diva moved in with Charles Simonyi out in Seattle, or moved in with Edd Townsend down in Tennessee. If the upstairs walls in this old farmhouse could talk then the price would go up to $50 million. Well, time marches on. The only thing in Westport that does not change is the great fun and food at the Black Duck Cafe.

This beautiful magestic estate should not be sold. Martha, you should use this estate to make more money and charge people to visit this historical beauty. You can use the money any way you see fit. This home is where you made history. You should use it to further benefit your many wonderful causes. Please reconsider your decision to sell. It would be such a waste to see it in the hands of another.

Martha should never been released from prison when she was. If had been someone without alot of money like she has, they would still be in prison. This womanis totaly over rated.

Why not keep your home and use it for all the convicts you met in prison as a half way house upon there release.

Martha all the pictures are beatiful, I could only dream to live in one of these homes, with my beatiful little girl and adoring husband who just turned 28 yesterday, If only I could aford this, we have tried eveything to build credit to but a nice house, but my husband has no credit and no-one to co-sign, we are very honest,hardworking, people, who just want there child to be happy. We do own a mobil home, but were we live isn't the nicest area, kids and adults are always fighting and cursing. We have a son who passed aways 3 years ago, and the expierance of losing that child made us more eager to give everything we have to our little girl who will be 2 next month. Thank you for your intrest in my story Martha have a wonderful life and make it the best from here on out, eveyone deserves a second chance, here is yours and I have mine to work on.

Amazing martha how much the one view of the house looks so much like my grandparents home in indiana, which was demolished when the walmart bought the property and moved in all in the name of progress of course, but it really brings back memories.

Martha, I don't see this home being worth your asking price? the outside isn't even attractive? Just because someone as famous as you lived in it doesn't make it worth that kind of money...itleast not to most of us. I think if you lowered the price just to have it taken off your hands you would be surprised who would make offers.I'm sure there is alot of sentimental value to you however I would never pay that for this home but if you secide to keep it up for sell at this price I truley wish you lots of luck.

I think the front yard is ugly, something is just not right with how it looks. And the back yard looks so blah, where's that Martha magic touch at! Good luck on selling the house Martha.
